Reversing
Reversing cameras have become an essential upgrade for safer and easier driving. Whether you drive a van, or motorhome, having a clear rear view helps prevent accidents, reduces blind spots, and reduces the stress when parking when the vehicle has limited rear visibility.
In the UK, almost a quarter of all vehicle accidents occur while reversing. Many of these incidents involve damage to property, other vehicles, or—more seriously—pedestrians and cyclists. A reversing camera gives you a clear, real-time view of what’s behind your vehicle, helping to prevent costly and dangerous accidents.
Reverse the vehicles safely.
The Multifunction mirror monitor enables drivers of vans and motorhomes to reverse the vehicles safely by using the graduated markers displayed on the screen as the vehicle is reversed. In addition the system acts as a Dash Cam when front and rear cameras are fitted with the optional 256GB SD Card that will provide approximately 128 hours of video footage, before it starts to overwrite the oldest video data.
Parking Assistance
The rear camera with a combination of radar and camera technology acts as a parking aid when reversing the vehicle. When reverse gear is selected the camera will automatically display the video image whilst reversing with distance grid lines and sound a bleeper inside the vehicle. An optional external alarm will alert vulnerable road users nearby, thereby reducing the risk to life.
Reduce Blind Spots
Blind spots can jeopardise lives, particularly in busy areas, driveways, and parking lots. Children, cyclists, and pedestrians are especially at risk. A reversing camera helps eliminate these blind spots by providing a wider
Dash Cam Function
The system also offers full Dash Cam capability with the addition of a Full HD camera when fitted on the front and the Full HD waterproof Camera on the rear. If the Dash Cam mode is selected the system will support a 256GB Micro SD Card which can provide irrefutable proof in the unfortunate event of an accident and can provide protection of your valuable property whilst parked.
